By nature, the TWIST standards are intended to be used without restrictions by all market participants, irrespective of size or role in the market place. The effort of the design of these messages has a lot of value for the market place and is being provided by the TWIST members and sponsers on a voluntary basis. To ensure this value can be provided to all market participants without limitations, the standards are protected by copyright and made available to everyone under a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive TWIST usage license agreement.
We recommend anybody who wishes to download any of the TWIST XML Schemas to register on the TWIST Website and read the governing Intellectual Property.
